Big Mac Chicken Waffle Sandwich

A low-carb twist on the classic Big Mac using shredded chicken waffles as the bun, loaded with special sauce and all the fixings.

    Make the chicken waffle mixture

    In a bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken with an egg and shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.

    Cook the chicken waffles

    Preheat your waffle maker to the classic setting. Add the chicken mixture to the waffle iron, spreading it evenly. Close and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 6-8 minutes.

    Remove waffles

    Carefully remove the chicken waffles from the waffle maker using a spatula and place on a plate.

    Assemble the base

    Place one chicken waffle on a plate. Top with a slice of American cheese and spread Big Mac sauce generously over the cheese.

    Add toppings

    Sprinkle diced onions over the sauce, add pickle slices, then top with shredded lettuce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

    Complete the sandwich

    Spread more Big Mac sauce on the bottom of the second chicken waffle. Place it sauce-side down on top of the lettuce to complete the sandwich.

    Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately.

📝 Notes

For extra crispiness, press the chicken mixture firmly into the waffle iron. You can make your own Big Mac sauce by combining mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika.
