In a bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken with an egg and shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.

Preheat your waffle maker to the classic setting. Add the chicken mixture to the waffle iron, spreading it evenly. Close and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 6-8 minutes.

Place one chicken waffle on a plate. Top with a slice of American cheese and spread Big Mac sauce generously over the cheese.

Spread more Big Mac sauce on the bottom of the second chicken waffle. Place it sauce-side down on top of the lettuce to complete the sandwich.
